Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Sermon Coach is operated by Matthew Headley, trading as Headley Web & SEO, Jacksonville, Alabama. Contact: matt@headleyweb.com.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to provide the service:

• Account information — your name and email address, collected and stored by Clerk when you sign up.
• Sermon data — sermon titles, scripture references, coaching conversations, voice profiles, and drafts that you create inside Sermon Coach.
• Payment information — billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Usage data — basic logs of which features you use, to help us improve the product. No behavioral tracking or ad profiles.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and improve Sermon Coach
• To send transactional emails (receipts, account notices)
• To respond to support requests

We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not sell your data. Full stop.

4. Third-party services

We rely on the following services to operate:

• Clerk — authentication and user accounts. Clerk Privacy Policy
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Anthropic— AI coaching, voice extraction, and draft generation. Your sermon content and coaching conversations are sent to Anthropic’s API and are not stored by Anthropic beyond the request. Anthropic Privacy Policy
• Turso— database hosting. Your data is stored in Turso’s infrastructure. Turso Privacy Policy
• Vercel — hosting and edge functions. Vercel Privacy Policy

5. Data retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you close your account, your data is deleted within 30 days. You can request deletion at any time by emailing matt@headleyweb.com.

6. Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Request a copy of your sermon data and voice profile
• Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Cancel your account and have your data removed

7. Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication (session management via Clerk). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Children

Sermon Coach is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
